Norton Construction is Build It Green Certified

Build It Green is a membership supported non-profit organization whose mission is to promote healthy, energy- and resource-efficient homes in California.

Build It Green’s program development strategy trains construction professionals on all aspects of energy efficient and green construction practices. All aspects of green building are addressed including:

* Energy (conservation, efficiency, and renewable energy as it applies to framing, insulation, windows, water heating, appliances, heating/cooling and lighting)

* Resource Conservation (job-site waste/recycling, landscaping, water conservation, efficient framing, durability, and materials choices)

* Indoor Air Quality (VOCs, finish materials, ventilation, filtration, mold, and IAQ construction practices)
