Kitchen Remodel - 2010

During 2010, Joan and I decided to remodel our kitchen. We had plans prepared and Laurie was recommended to us as the general contractor. We met with Laurie, and he was very helpful in looking at the plans with us. He spent time with us working up a budget of the estimated costs for the complete demolition and remodel of our kitchen After meeting with Laurie and reviewing the budgets, we decided to work with him for the project. He was very helpful in going with us to the suppliers, recommending materials, and reviewing the different costs and how they would affect the budget.

When the project began everything was in proper order of how to proceed. He was on the job almost on a daily basis during the entire construction process. He finished it timely, brought it in on budget, and the quality of the work was excellent. All of the subcontractors were nice people to deal with. They were there when they were supposed to be and completed their part of the project timely and on budget.

We were very happy with the timeliness, the quality, and bringing the project in on budget. Our kitchen turned out outstanding, and the quality of the work and the workmanship were excellent. If we have any future remodel jobs at our home, we certainly would use Laurie. He is easy to work with and certainly responsive to requests for changes, so we highly recommend Laurie Norton of Norton Construction for any type of construction project. We feel he is honest, on time, and very responsive to your needs.
